Ford Type 9 Rebuild
The Ford Type 9 Gearbox was Fords First RWD 5 speed Gearbox, and an evolution of the Ford Type E 4 speed.
The removable bellhousing and various input shaft lengths make it ideal for 5 speed conversions For rear wheel drive vehicles such as Ford Escorts, Cortina, Capri and a host of other manufactures including MG, Morris, Morgan, Caterham, Westfield to name a few. A 4wd version of this box was also available for the early XR4x4 models.

Prices start from £520.00 + vat our price includes labour to strip and rebuild your existing gearbox with new Qaulity branded bearings,gaskets and oil seals.
Should other parts be required on inspection these will be charged at extra cost.
